Raising Poetry was established in 2006 as a collective for positive poets and spoken word artists.  In 2007 we published our first collection of poems, Raising Poetry: Volume I.  and in 2008 we hosted our first international Poet.   In the years following our launch, we have been devoted to empowering and educating both aspiring and established poets in their diverse expressions of the art form.

Raising Poetry is a resource for the artist as well as Churches and other organizations with interest in identifying positive poets for youth workshops and other speaking engagements.
